'Child's Play' Sneak Peek Teases More of Mark Hamill's Creepy Rendition of Chucky
The seasoned voice actor shows off his horror chops.
If the previous trailers weren’t terrifying enough, Orion Pictures released a new clip from the upcoming Child’s Play reboot that’s sure to keep you on the edge of your seat.
In the tense preview, Andy Barclay (Gabriel Bateman) can be seen getting ready to face the demon. Taking hold of a baseball bat but unable to spot Chucky, Mark Hamill’s spine-tingling vocal interpretation of the evil doll echoes throughout the Barclay family living room, confusing the young boy as he attempts to find him. A clip of his mother Karen (Aubrey Plaza) appears on the TV, shortly followed by Andy’s feet as seen from Chucky’s current perspective. “Peekabo,” Chucky hums lowly, abruptly ending in a cliffhanger.
Hamill was first announced as the voice of the iconic character in late March. The Star Wars mainstay adds Child’s Play to his long list of voice acting credentials that include The Joker in a number of animated Batman films and TV shows.
