The ‘Star Wars’ mainstay is lending his voice to another iconic character.
Star Wars legend Mark Hamill is lending his voice to the demonic Chucky in the upcoming Child’s Play remake.
Hamill, an experienced voice actor, announced the news himself via recorded video that was played during a panel presentation at WonderCon over the weekend. He adds the role of Chucky to his list of credentials that include The Joker in numerous Batman animated films and TV shows.
Following the original plot, Orion Pictures’ take on the 30-year-old cult favorite sees Parks and Recreation star Aubrey Plaza and Light’s Out’s Gabriel Bateman playing Karen and Andy Barclay. The nightmare begins when Karen gives her son Andy a Chucky toy doll, completely unaware of its desire and ability to rid the world of whoever he pleases.
