Dubbed “Shoegazing,” the latest lookbook features directional styling by Yuta Yamada. This time around, classic tailored garments like blazers and plaid trousers are added to the looks, accompanying key pieces such as the oversized pullover raincoat and various water-repellant jackets. Hits of beige, orange, green, navy and yellow are the primary considerations for palettes in this season’s lineup. One standout piece is the yellow poncho, complete with black buttons, zippers and drawstrings for contrast. Other pieces like backpacks, pants, striped shirts, a suitcase and raised-collar crewnecks are added to the dynamic range, presenting a refined manifestation of technical and lifestyle design applications.
The Summer 2019 collection is currently available on Karrimor Japan’s website ranging from $138 – $467 USD.
