HUF Partners With the Harold Hunter Foundation for Limited Capsule Collection
In honor of the late skateboarder and actor.
Skate imprint HUF has released a capsule collection in honor of the late Harold Hunter. Joining forces with the Harold Hunter Foundation, the collection’s highlight arrive in the form of a light tie-dye T-shirt and a black sweatshirt. Both pieces feature archived photos of the famed skater and bold graffiti style artwork that read “RIP HAROLD HUNTER” and “LEGENDS NEVER DIE.” Other pieces in the collection include doodled-on black and blue socks and a tie-dye hoodie with a bright pink image of Hunter framed in the middle.
In addition, the HUF skate team will be hosting a demo at 12th & A in the East Village on June 1 from 6PM as part of the annual Harold Hunter Weekend in New York City.
Hunter became a prominent figure in the NYC skate scene, traveling with the Zoo York team, appearing in TV shows and starring in films like the cult classic KIDS. Hunter and Keith Hufnagel met in the 1980s and remained friends until his untimely passing in 2006. He was 31.
Cop the limited collection exclusively on HUF’s online shop and flagship stores from $16 to $70 USD. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to foundation to benefit at-risk inner city youth.
