Logic and Eminem Exchange Rapid Verses on "Homicide"
Produced by Shroom and Bregma.
Fresh off of debuting his New York Times Bestselling novel Supermarket, Logic has joined forces with Eminem for a fast-paced lyrical exchange on “Homicide.”
Serving as the third single off of Logic’s Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, the track marks the first time the two rappers have made a song together. However the pair are no strangers when it comes to working with each other, considering Logic opened Em’s concert at Aloha Stadium three months prior.
“You about to get out-rhymed, how could I be dethroned?” Shady raps over the Shroom- and Bregma-produced beat. “I stay on my toes like the repo, a behemoth in sheep clothes/From the East Coast to the West, I’m the ethos and I’m the G.O.A.T.” Em then adds some rapid rhymes as he calls out rappers that use ghostwriters and name drops JAY-Z.
Logic teased the eerie organ-sounding single a few days earlier via his social media accounts along with sharing the cover art which depicts a bloody eyeball. You can listen to “Homicide” now above and below. The track even features an appearance from comedian Chris D’Elia.
Although no official release date has been announced as of yet, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind is expected to land in the near future. Previous singles shared from the project are the title track and “Keanu Reeves.”
