Leica and Lenny Kravitz Team Up Again For a Limited Edition M Monochrom "Drifter"

After the success of Leica and Lenny Kravitz‘s first collaboration on the “Correspondent,” the German camera makers have teamed up once again with the musician, designer and photographer to create a limited edition of the Leica M Monochrom called the “Drifter”.

Designed by Kravitz Design, the centerpiece of the collection is a M Monochrom (Typ 246) camera painted in sepia-brown and wrapped in a vegan python leatherette sourced from Stella McCartney, with untreated brass making up the camera’s thumb wheel, flash shoe, shutter button and soft release. The camera is equipped with two lenses, both painted in the same sepia-brown tone to match the body: a Summicron-M 28mm f/2 ASPH specially designed with a built-in telescoping lens hood, and an APO-Summicron-M 75mm f/2 ASPH.

Named “Drifter,” the set is designed for travelers, and so includes a vegan leather camera bag, two vegan leather quivers for the lenses, and two all-purpose accessory pouches made in the same material.
