UNDERCOVER and Dr. Martens Reunite for "The New Warriors" Shoes and Boots
More seasonal footwear collaborations.
Following the recent collaborative Converse, UNDERCOVER rejoins Dr. Martens for two separate styles of collaborative footwear. Offered as a tall 8-hole boot or low-top 3-hole derby, the classic Dr. Martens styles have been upgraded with branding in line with UNDERCOVER’s SS19 “The New Warriors” collection.
Each footwear style has been realized in three distinctive tones: black, cherry red and a deep navy. Despite the entirely different heights, both styles feature the same graphic detailing, with a circular white “NW” logo emblazoned on the lateral side beneath the ankle/leg opening and futuristic-looking “THE NEW WARRIORS” text printed across the toe.
Elsewhere, classic Dr. Martens detailing remains intact, with smooth grain leather uppers, black laces and yellow stitching on the comfortable resin outsole. However, the shoes have all been crafted in Dr. Martens’ English factory to uphold a higher standard of craftsmanship, with price tags to match.
The collaborative shoes hit UNDERCOVER’s Japan stores on April 13; keep an eye on stockists like SSENSE for the subsequent international release.
