The Standard Unveils London Hotel
The group’s first international hotel will open this year.

US-based hotel group The Standard is set to open its first international location, with a new outpost in London. Currently, The Standard has five locations across the US, with two hotels in New York, two in Los Angeles and one in Miami. The new hotel will be located opposite London’s iconic St. Pancras station.
The hotel is designed by Shawn Hausman Design to celebrate the brutalist architecture of the Camden Town Annex where it is located. Overall, The Standard, London will feature 266 bedrooms — some of which will come with outdoor terraces and bathtubs — as well as a ground floor bar, an indoor/outdoor restaurant, a recording studio and record press, and a rooftop restaurant. The Standard, London is due to open its doors in summer this year.
