Metropolitan References X-MEN Crew & Classic Reggae Skate Tunes in New Drop
Including pieces made using a unique dying process.

Metropolitan, the brand headed by HUF founder Keith Hufnagel, has dropped its second delivery of Spring/Summer 2019. Extending its range of cut and sew apparel and colorful headwear, the ’90s skate brand offers a host of new silhouettes, styles and washes throughout its well-referenced collection.
Standout pieces from the collection include the all-new denim trucker jacket, which sees a vintage-inspired cloud crystal wash produced by a hand-dying process. Featuring embroidered calligraphic logos on the front and back, the jacket is complemented by a logo hoodie receiving the same unique dying process — meaning each piece produced will have a slightly different design.
Elsewhere, Metropolitan delivers a graphic T-shirt featuring a bubble-graffiti logo designed by Keo of the X-MEN crew, and a selection of colorful long-sleeve T-shirts. The long-sleeves are adorned with a tribute graphic nodding to the classic reggae song “Uptown Top Ranking” by Althea and Donna, a track often associated with skate videos.
Priced between $20 USD for logo beanies and $248 USD for the aforementioned cloud crystal trucker jacket, head to metropolitanusa.com to cop your favorite pieces from the collection.
