Nike Releases the Shox R4 in Racer Blue & Metallic Silver
A clean alternative to the “Comet Red” colorway.
Nike releases the Shox R4 in another throwback-themed colorway. This time around, the spring-loaded basketball sneaker is again treated with Metallic Silver uppers, but rather than being accented with its original Comet Red, the heel, Swoosh, tongue, and lining all come clad in a familiar Racer Blue color.
The Shox R4 maintains its synthetic-and-textile uppers while cushioning is supplied via the Phylon forefoot midsole, and of course, Nike’s Shox technology at the heel. The sneaker is finished off with hits of reflective material at the mud guard, toe and heel.
