AirBnB Granting One Night Sleepover Opportunity at the Louvre Museum
The night includes food and drinks, plus music and art experiences.
After a failed attempt at a one-night stay on the Great Wall of China, Airbnb is revamping its Experiences initiative by taking its sleepover competition to the storied Louvre Museum. To celebrate 30 years of the Louvre’s famous Pyramid entrance, the duo will grant one lucky winner (and his/her plus one) the chance to “discover the museum like never before” through an exclusive evening filled with art, food, drinks and music.
The Mona Lisa will play “host” to the guests, who will have the opportunity to sip on an apéritif in her “sumptuous living room,” as well as nibble on fine dining prepared by a personal chef while in the company of the renowned Venus de Milo. A VIP guide will be on hand to escort the attendees through a private tour, typically reserved for the likes of presidents and celebrities. Later, an acoustic concert will take over Napoleon III’s lavish apartments for a live entertainment session. The Pyramid will be transformed into a makeshift bedroom, allowing the visitors to sleep under the stars before awakening to a traditional Parisian breakfast.
The key to nabbing this ritzy prize? Simply shell out the best answer to the question, “Why would you be Mona Lisa’s perfect guest?”
This posh experience is set for the night of April 30, with the competition open now on Airbnb’s website. Scroll above to view a promo video for the campaign.
The Louvre was a hot commodity more than ever last year thanks to Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s “APESHIT” video. Visuals for the track were shot throughout the halls of the famous venue, contributing to the museum’s record-breaking visitor numbers over the course of 2018 as patrons surged to discover the secrets of the iconic attraction.
