Soulland and Footshop have teamed up for a Spring/Summer 2019 capsule collection titled “Soulland Meets Footshop: Tolerance/Relevance,” offering up a print-based drop of sweats, jackets, and accessories.
Exploring openness, Soulland and Footshop argue that perceiving contrast and diversity as positives are part of understanding and experiencing tolerance and relevance, making for differences in the two companies that aim to be a source of inspiration and innovation. Expanding this concept, Soulland and Footshop visited three young adults in Copenhagen’s districts of Fredensborg, Vesterbro and Valby to ask them what they feel tolerance and relevance means to them.
The lookbook spotlights five young men in total, who are all from the surrounding area of Copenhagen. The lookbook sees pieces which are adorned with “Tolerance” and “Relevance” graphics, with stand out items including the character-sketch-overlayed graphic T-shirt and the contrasting blue and red scarf. A final notable mention in the collection is bright cobalt blue hoodie, which sees red and yellow contrasting graphics once again reflecting ”Tolerance” and “Relevance.”
