In March, during Nike‘s quarterly earnings call, CEO Mark Parker revealed that Giannis Antetokounmpo‘s first signature sneaker would make its on-foot debut during the Playoffs. While that may or may not happen (considering the Bucks got rerouted in Game 1 against the Celtics) our first look at the sneaker, tentatively named the Freak 1, has leaked.

The signature sneaker will be available in a glowing orange and blue colorway, incorporating an enlarged reverse Swoosh on the midsole. The overabundance of detailing on the shoe is inspired by his family and his personal style of play. The first Nike Freak 1 shoe will also embody functionality, practicality and affordability, as the sneaker will be suitable for everyone, between rapid ballers and posterizing guards, at a lower-than-most price point.

The anticipated sneaker is set to release later this year.

In other news, images of new GOLF le FLEUR* x Converse sneakers have surfaced.
