Kyler Murray Becomes Only Person to Be Selected in First Round of Both The NFL & MLB Draft

Already making his mark in sports history, Kyler Murray is now the first person ever to be drafted first round in both the NFL and MLB.
The Texas A&M University star was drafted during the first round by the Oakland Athletics’ that guaranteed him an outfielder position and $4.6 million USD. But Murray will be forfeiting the deal and going to the NFL after being selected as the number pick at the 2019 NFL Draft.
The Oklahoma quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner will be joining the Arizona Cardinals under new coach Kliff Kingsbury. Making sports history, Kyler is expected to receive a four-year rookie contract from the Cardinals, worth approximately eight times the amount the A’s offered.
