Flipp Dinero Is Ready for the Big Stage
The Brooklyn rapper talks fame, performing at MetLife Stadium and more.
For the latest entry in our Conversations With interview series, HYPEBEAST linked up with Flipp Dinero who discusses his viral hit single “Leave Me Alone,” becoming famous and performing in front of a sold-out MetLife Stadium crowd during the ‘On The Run’ Tour stop in New Jersey.
Brooklyn native Flipp Dinero can point to consistency as one of the main reasons he’s an internationally known rapper right now. The budding upstart began his career in 2017 when he was signed with Johnny Shipes’ label Cinematic Music Group after being introduced by Joey Bada$$. That same year he released his debut EP The Guala Way, showcasing amazing charisma and song-making ability with a unique raspy voice that was made for harmonizing. Things began to grow steadily for Dinero until his smash hit “Leave Me Alone” went viral. The record peaked at No. 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 plus led to Flipp Dinero signing a major label deal with DJ Khaled’s label, We The Best, and Epic Records. Now that he’s famous, life has been moving at a very fast pace.
“I just remain humble, I don’t let it get to me,” he tells HYPEBEAST. “I don’t want to think about my life changing because if I do, I’m going to freak the f*ck out.”
Most recently, Flipp Dinero released two new records, “If I Tell You,” and “Not Too Many,” which were both produced by Tay Keith.
