Emani & Trppie Redd Showcase More Powerful Chemistry on "Inside"
A new visual form the close collaborators.
Six months after serving up a pair of show-stealing guest appearances on Trippie Redd‘s full-length studio project A Love Letter to You 3, southern California singer-songwriter Emani is reconnecting with her close superstar-collaborator for a new music video and single of her own, “Inside.” Notably, the “Inside” vignette comes to us courtesy of director Christopher Scholar, who brings the silky-smooth and moody R&B cut to life by giving it a glossy, intimate visual component. Considering the strength of her vocal performances and the unique pop sensibilities that she has showcased in recent months, Emani definitely has the potential to be one of her craft’s next major stars.
“‘Inside’ to me was a feeling I was going through where I felt like everybody was in my relationship and it was causing issues,” Emani tells us, opening up about the specific motivations for her latest release and the real-life story that inspired it. “I wanted to tell my partner, ‘F*CK THEM ITS ABOUT US.’ So just like I say in the chorus, ‘Keep your mind on me and you, when they say it’s not love’ cause I know what we got here is special.”
