Following a few collaborative pairs done in conjunction with atmos and BEAMS, this time around adidas keeps it in-house for a vibrant take on its Yung-1 silhouette, launching in time for the fifth anniversary of BILLY’s ENT Tokyo.

Dubbed the “Black Neon” the shoe’s suede, nubuck and mesh construction is almost completely covered in a “Triple Black” colorway, however neon hits have been added to the Three Stripes branding and tongue tabs. Said to be inspired by the night lights of BILLYS’ native Tokyo, the lateral and medial branding is split between green with orange trim for the former and pink with blue trim for the latter.

On the tongue, a black adidas Originals motif has been placed on a neon pink background that’s been embellished with a green suede cut-out. The shoe’s design is rounded out with a black midsole taking on the same famous shape as found on the adidas Falcon.

The adidas Originals Yung-1 “Black Neon” is available now at select adidas retailers and adidas.com at a retail price of $120 USD.

For more sneaker releases, the BAPE x NEIGHBORHOOD x adidas capsule goes global in this week’s footwear drops.
