WTAPS delves further into its military-inspired aesthetic with its “MILL (UNIFORMS)” diffusion line. The Spring/Summer 2019 capsule sees WTAPS strip back to the bare necessities of workwear, delivering “the ultimate uniform line” thanks to simplistic, oversized cuts and minimal tailoring.

The capsule is comprised of a field jacket, a ripstop jungle overshirt, a satin workshirt, satin cargo pants, ripstop jungle pants, and a pair of simplified cotton-satin mix trousers. Sporting military green and washed black iterations, the collection is highlighted in a lookbook featuring a clean white oversized T-shirt, a utility-inspired belt and a pair of the coveted Vans Vault x WTAPS Bones OG Authentic LX from 2016.

The collection presents a slightly new direction for WTAPS, with little branding and instead delivering boxy Japanese cuts for a premium utility-meets-streetwear look. Each piece from the Mill collection is finished with a clean interior label, acting as the diffusion line’s only visible recognition thanks to its exposed exterior stitching.

The WTAPS “MILL (UNIFORMS)” collection is available online now, and is priced between JP¥24,840 and JP¥68,040 (approx. $225 – $615 USD).
