C.P. Company & Patta Unveil Functionally-Driven SS19 Capsule Collection
Releasing on April 6.
After announcing last week that Dutch-based streetwear imprint Patta would be collaborating alongside technical sportswear brand C.P. Company, both parties have now come together to reveal a lookbook that features the pieces of their upcoming Spring/Summer 2019 capsule collection.
Utilizing C.P. Company’s long history with garment dyeing and forward-thinking fabric techniques, Patta has managed to tap the Italian sportswear brand to create a collection that focuses on stylishly functional clothing. Utilizing a variety of already-employed silhouettes from C.P.’s end, the two parties chose specific fabrics to withstand water and wind, while still being able to breathe and dry quickly.
Various details surrounding the garments were also added, such as mesh-backed zippers, sling-style straps on pieces such as the Fishtail Parka, and various co-branding hits. In many ways, the new collection takes aim at the new generation of urban city dwellers – those who are fashionably intrigued while at the same time require something that can withstand a variety of environments.
As seen in the photo gallery above, various pieces include the Goggle Fishtail Parka, vests, nylon metal jackets, bucket hats, various graphic-infused T-shirts, breathable fleece zips, and track-style pants. Alongside these pieces is the bum-bag accessory shown in a vibrantly colored orange.
The C.P. Company x Patta capsule collection will be available in stores and online via C.P. Company’s web store, Patta’s web store, and BEAMS T in Japan on April 6.
