Julien Boudet Snaps SS19's Best Clothes in a Garage of Classic Cars
Showcasing goods including Prada, LOEWE, Burberry, Fendi, UNDERCOVER and Raf Simons.
Luxembourg’s Smets recruits street style veteran Julien Boudet (better known as @bleumode) to lense its Spring/Summer 2019 editorial, shot in the nearby Old Timers garage. The blue collar setting offers a suitable contrast from the pattern-heavy and color-drenched seasonal selection.
Classic Ferrari and Ford Mustangs serve as a backdrop for deconstructed Doublet vests, washed denim Raf Simons shirting and the oft-controversial Maison Margiela Fusion Sneaker. Aggressive clashing is realized by way of colorful LOEWE bandana shorts and militaristic 1017 ALYX 9SM vests, with a hit of graphic intrigue provided by logo’d-up Prada socks. Elsewhere, a rusty Volkswagen Beatle complements the repurposed vintage of READYMADE, realized by way of a padded Western shirt.
The goods are available now in-store at Smets and via digital stockists like Farfetch.
Most recently, M+RC Noir launched its Smets collaboration and pop-up.
