Graphic designer Gwang Shin, who won the Nike On Air contest, will see his Air Max 97 design “Neon Seoul” released during the Air Max Day celebration this year.

Featuring a matte-black body with vivid neon contours that are inspired by the Taegeuk symbol on South Korea’s flag, Gwang Shin’s design draws heavily from his city’s lively and colorful night scenes. The neon Swoosh and Seoul LED logos fully capture the energetic hustle and bustle of his wonderful metropolis.

Be sure to look out for these eye-catching sneakers during Air Max Day on the 26th of March.
