The classic Tinker Hatfield-designed model’s upper is coated in sail while its suede mudguard complements the underlay in the sneakers color code “Atomic Violet.” The lateral and medial Swoosh logos match the aforementioned purple hue while the heel’s visible Air Max unit matches the sail upper. Lastly, the sneaker’s signature “Nike Air” symbols make their way back to the tongue and heel to finish things off. The resulting colorway is not only clean and distinct, but dynamic enough to be styled easily.
The Nike Air Max 1 “Atomic Violet” arrives in the coming weeks for $110 USD at select Nike Sportswear stockists and Nike.com. Air Max fans can also take a look at the “Laser Fuchsia” iteration of the Nike Air Max Plus.
