Levi’s and Justin Timberlake presented their “Fresh Leaves” campaign last fall, marking the first collaborative collection between the singer and denim company. The duo has returned for spring to unveil their second capsule, “Connection,” traveling to Tennessee to draw inspiration from Timberlake’s hometown.

Shot in Memphis — where the musician was born and raised — the SS19 lookbook juxtaposes Levi’s staple pieces against various citywide backdrops, including a grungy vacant lot, exposed-brick studio and the fluorescent-lit “Arcade Restaurant.” The assortment encompasses jackets, bottoms and tops, which are modernized this season through print and fabrication mixes. Standout outerwear includes a camouflage and black color-blocked hoodie and a jean jacket featuring leaf-printed sleeves. “Memphis” and “1981” — Timberlake’s year of birth — make up key phrases on the graphic T-shirts. Meanwhile, washed denim pants are offered in black, blue and cream complete the outfits.

Levi’s and Justin Timberlake’s SS19 collection is expected to launch at select Levi’s stores in the near future. In the meantime, for more fashion news from the brand, check out its limited-edition range with Peanuts.
