Following the news that multiple radio stations chose to remove Michael Jackson from their playlists, it has been reported the controversial superstar’s album sales have dropped but his streams and song sales have increased.

According to reports, Jacksons’ album sales dipped 39 percent, while his song sales have increased conversely by six percent after the debut of the documentary Leaving Neverland. Stream numbers, on-demand audio and video streams, have also increased by six percent. The strange numbers follow the pattern that developed after the premiere of the Surviving R Kelly documentary.
