SEVEN BY SEVEN has recently unveiled its upcoming Fall/Winter 2019 collection, which continues the fledgling label’s vision of a mixture between casual and contemporary wear.
Designer Junya Kawakami attempts to build a story behind the clothes and each piece is a testament to the vintage roots and attention to detail from Kawakami. The collection features a plethora of pieces, from colorful sweaters, art-infused crewnecks to camouflage print puffer jackets, denim jackets and vintage leather jackets.
The vintage looks come from the re-use of rare US military tent fabrics from the ’60s and ’70s and ’90s dead stock US military fabrics which are given original prints of modern camouflage. Certain techniques such as color discoloration were also used in the denim to continue the old-school aesthetic paired with more relaxed, contemporary looks.
No details yet on when the collection will be released, but head over to SEVEN BY SEVEN’s web store for more details.
