Lil Skies Boasts the Strength of His Melodic Flow on Debut Album, 'Shelby'
Featuring Gucci Mane, Gunna, and Landon Cube.

It’s been a wild three years for Pennsylvania rapper Lil Skies, and now cementing himself in the rap game with the release of his debut album, Shelby.
Named in honor of his mother—the woman on the album art—the record follows his 2018 mixtape Life of a Dark Rose that went on to peak at number 10 on the Billboard 200. Shelby features 14 tracks inspired by important moments in Skies’ life, layered with guest verses from Gucci Mane on “Bad Girls,” Gunna on “Stop the Madness” and Landon Cube on “Nowadays, Pt.2.” Skies refers to the album as his first real project, saying, “It’s like a new beginning. This is really like me being born again.”
