UPDATE: KAWS:HOLIDAY Hong Kong by AllRightsReserved has officially been unveiled at Victoria Harbour. We were on the scene to catch the opening where Brian Donnelly aka KAWS arrived to greet his fans and officially commence the floating sculpture exhibition.

Those in the area should check it out as it will only be on display until March 31.

Original Story March 21, 2019: Following its residencies in Seoul and Taipei, the traveling KAWS:HOLIDAY float is now sailing along the waters of Hong Kong’s Victoria Harbour. Organized by AllRightsReserved, the giant 37-meter installation features KAWS’ signature grey Companion with its arms outstretched. It will be available for public viewing until March 31.

Accompanying the outdoor artwork is a collaborative series of merchandise by KAWS and AllRightsReserved. The installation also coincides with Art Basel Hong Kong activities which will take place starting March 29.

See photos of the KAWS:HOLIDAY float in Hong Kong above. For more commemorative installations, take a look at PichiAvo’s 85-foot-tall Neoclassical sculpture covered with the duo’s signature graffiti.
