Just how realistic is ‘Bird Box?’
Fresh off the announcement that British former SAS serviceman Bear Grylls was getting his very own Netflix interactive series, the survival instructor took the time to sit down with Vanity Fair for a quick video tutorial.
Doing what he does best, Grylls was put to the challenge by reviewing popular survival movies including critically-acclaimed pieces such as Cast Away and The Revenant to the more recent Netflix hit Bird Box. Of course being such a survival specialist, Grylls lays down his knowledge as to how realistic said action flicks are. Check it out for yourself in the 11-minute clip above where Grylls also talks about sleeping in camel carcasses, almost freezing to death and more.
Bear Grylls is set to host at Nat Geo’s Hostile Planet next month.
