The Massive Energizer P18K Phone Packs 50 Days of Battery Life
Boasting an 18,000 mAh battery.
Originally teased at this year’s Mobile World Congress, Avenir Telecom’s Energizer-licenced P18K mobile phone could become a reality. The chunky phone goes against all tradition when it comes to phone size, but where it lacks in portability, the P18K makes up for in functionality. Housed under its robust exterior is an 18,000 mAh battery that translates to two straight days of video playback, 90 hours of calls, or 100 hours of music. When not being used, the P18K can go on standby mode for 50 days on a single charge.
Other features include a fast charge function, a 6.2” Full HD+ display, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, dual sim card slots, a power bank function that can charge other devices, and five cameras — three rear cameras (12MP + 5MP + 2MP) and two pop-up front-facing cameras (16MP + 2MP). Priced at $549 USD for the early bird sale, the P18K aka “The World’s Longest Lasting Smartphone” can be found over at Indiegogo, where it needs to reach a fixed goal of $9,419,892 USD in 40 days in order to reach market.
