Keanu Reeves & Alex Winter Announce 'Bill & Ted Face the Music' Release Date

The highly-anticipated Bill & Ted Face the Music film now officially has a release date. Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter, the stars who play Theodore “Ted” Logan and William “Bill” S. Preston Esq., announced the exciting news in a short video. Production for the film will begin this summer and is expected to hit theatres Summer 2020.

Bill & Ted Face the Music marks the third installment in the Bill & Ted franchise, following Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure from 1989 and Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey from 1991. As stated in a new press release, the upcoming movie focuses on a new adventure for the now middle-aged best friends when they’re told that only their song can save the universe.

Bill & Ted Face the Music hits theaters on August 21, 2020. Watch the announcement video above and remember: be excellent to each other.
