Last month, Chance the Rapper alluded to a summer release for his anticipated new studio album, sending fans and onlookers into a frenzy by simply tweeting “July” and “Owbum.” He also took to Instagram to give the public a video-update on where he’s currently at in life and the status of his forthcoming project. Now, further supporting his next major release, the Chicago superstar is taking to social media once more to reveal his next round of tour-dates and confirm the imminent release of his upcoming LP.

“Got a concert in New York after my #owbum drop,” reads the first entry in a series of newly-released promotional tweets from Chance. “Got a concert in Atlanta after my #owbum drop. Gotta concert in LA after my #owbum drop. Gotta festival in Chicago after my #owbum drop @patthemanager. Gotta show in Seattle after my #owbum drop. Gotta performance in Houston after my #owbum drop. Gotta show in STL after my #owbum drop. Gotta concert in Miami after my #owbum drop.”

Chance the Rapper’s last full-length release was 2016’s Coloring Book, which dropped in May of that year and delivered 14 tracks, including collaborations with Future, Justin Bieber, Anderson .Paak, Ty Dolla $ign, Lil Wayne, Young Thug. As of this month, that LP has generated well over 1.5 billion streams.

We’ll keep you updated as more information concerning Chance’s next project becomes available. Currently, it looks like Chance the Rapper has locked in July debut for his new studio album.

At the beginning of this year, Chance also appeared on a new episode of Sesame Street.
