Palm Angels Infuses Sartorial Looks for FW19

Combining streetwear with structured tailoring.

Transitioning from Milan to New York, Palm Angels‘ Francesco Ragazzi aimed to take elements of the Big Apple’s streetwear scene, but introduce unique concepts unseen before. Departing from the brand’s familiar aesthetic of tracksuits and loose-fitting garments, the FW19 lineup fuses structured tailored blazers with technical details and functional pockets, juxtaposed with athletic wear and boldly colored trousers.

Garments used for hunting and fishing also provided inspiration as camouflaged patterns could be seen on everything from vests, to jackets to leggings. Paying homage to social media, the “Sensitive Content” disclaimer was displayed along shirts, as were graphics of aliens and decapitated teddy bears–retaining its edgy origins. An array of tie-dyed denim, ornately-printed silks and fitted leather all showed off Ragazzi’s comprehensive range to adopt a number of different techniques and styles.

See all the lineup above and get an exclusive look at everything that happened backstage during Palm Angels’ FW19 show.
