Nike has been collaborating with Oregon’s Doernbecher Children’s Hospital for the past 15 years on a special sneaker line designed by gifted patients. The Swoosh brand now brings back Jacob Burris’ Air Max 95 from 2015.

Inspired by Burris’ nickname “The Bionic Boy,” which was given to him due to his rare heart conditions, the iteration boasts an electronic circuit pattern on the overlapping lateral panels while the same motif arrives on the lace stays and surrounds the midsole Air units. Donning the pair futuristic vibes is a gradient of tinges on the body as well as on the icy outsole, going from a solid blue on the mudguard to a glowing red at the heel.

Pricing at $170 USD, the Doernbecher Freestyle Air Max 95 Premium will be available for raffle on February 19 at 10 a.m. EST on the Nike SNKRS website. Take a look at the official images above and in more sneaker news, the classic Nike Grandstand II now comes in a “White/Royal Blue” colorway.
