Lil Baby Has a Romantic Getaway in Paris for New "Close Friends" Video
A standout cut off his joint LP with Gunna.
With a Drip Harder 2 project on the way, Lil Baby revisits his initial collaborative project with Gunna, 2018’s Drip Harder, for his latest visual. Linking up with director Daps, Lil Baby hits the streets of Paris, engaging in various sequences with his real-life girlfriend — including a romantic dinner. Notably, this visual captured Lil Baby’s first time in Paris; he chose to film the vignette in that city because it represents “love and romance” to him.
“Keep our business to ourselves / The internet ain’t doin’ no help / I know I shouldn’t've never left / But everything I did for us / And us, I’m speakin’ on my kids,” Lil Baby raps, pleading for his significant other back. “Thinkin’ ’bout this shit I did / Like how the hell I get myself involved in this bullshit? / Married to the game, I can’t make you my fiancée / Bad young boss bitch, treat her like Beyoncé / But damn what them broads say, I f*cked them all the first day / And that’s why you trippin’ anyway, like when I f*ck ‘em I don’t pay / Even if we never speak again / I’ll make sure you’re ridin’ in the latest Benz / Keep your business all apart if you can stay out of mine / Bought a brand new Audemars, but I done ran out of time.”
