Hermès showcased its Fall/Winter 2019 menswear collection in January with a line-up of formal, tailored pieces presented across a seasonal palette. The French fashion house is back this month and bringing fans a way to connect with the label outside of clothes, introducing a new podcast dubbed The Faubourg of Dreams.
Episodes of the podcast center around the company’s behind-the-scenes workers and highlight various team members from its original Hermès Paris store, located at 24 rue de Faubourg Saint-Honore. Topics cover each person’s daily routine “from work on its window displays to the hanging garden, and from the silk counters to its leather workshop,” as stated on the website. Currently, there are eight episodes available including conversations with artistic director Pierre-Alexis Dumas, “The Dream Master,” and the Paris boutique’s chief decorator Antoine Platteau, “The Man Behind the Windows.”
Karim Seghir and Camille Parenty — the store’s manager and director respectively — are also featured guests, among others.
“The Faubourg store is the epicentre of the Hermès dream; an effervescent place filled with stories originating from conversations that start on each floor,” the brand explains.

In addition to its FW19 collection, the label recently unveiled its Arceau L’Heure De La Lune double moon phase watch. The elegant timepiece features floating dials – depicting the date and time — as well as a 43mm white gold Arceau case, which indicate the phases of the moon in the southern and northern hemispheres. It retails for a luxury price point of $25,500 USD.
