Bentley Launches Bentayga Speed, "The World's Fastest, Most Luxurious SUV"
Making its global debut at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show.

Bentley unveiled its 2019 Continental GT Convertible last fall, showcasing the drop-top counterpart to its Continental GT Coupe. The luxury British manufacturer has now announced the launch of its Bentayga Speed, billed as “the world’s fastest, most luxurious SUV.”
The Bentley Bentayga Speed features enhanced speed and power from the existing 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged W12 engine, while building on the label’s original Speed range which began with the Continental GT in 2007. The new vehicle increases horsepower from 608 PS to 635 PS (626 HP), reducing the 0-62 mph acceleration time from 4.1 seconds to 3.9 seconds. It also boasts a top speed of 190 mph, while offering 664 pound-feet of torque. Exterior details include dark-tint headlights and bumper grills, a tailgate spoiler and 22-inch wheels that are available in three finishes.
On the interior, Bentley utilizes Alcantara trim for the first time in the Bentayga range. Other components include diamond-quilted seats, contrast stitching and an illuminated Speed treadplate. Speed branding is also placed at other various locations inside and outside of the car.
The Bentayga Speed notched the production SUV record at the 2018 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb last June. It will make its global debut at the Geneva Motor Show taking place this March 7-17 and is expected to go on sale later this year.
In other recent automotive news, Hennessey unveiled its McLaren 600LT HPE1000 Coupe. The two-door can achieve 0 to 60 mph in 2.1 seconds and offers a maximum speed of 204 MPH and 1001 horsepower.
