HBO will be following the intriguing case of Adnan Syed, who was convicted for the murder of Hae Min Lee in 1999 in Baltimore, in a new four-part mini-series titled The Case Against Adnan Syed.

Produced by Amy Berg, the documentary follows on from the hit podcast Serial which highlighted a number of grey areas in Syed’s case. The HBO documentary, therefore, looks like it will expand on these questions, as a teaser shows a number of scenarios in which new information and extensive investigations come to the surface.

Following Syed’s case and the private investigators involved in the 20-year-long process, the documentary aims to deliver “new discoveries and revelations that challenge the state’s case.” You can expect to find out never-before-seen information in a documentary covering all grounds, with interviews from Syed himself, as well as his family, defence team, the Baltimore law enforcement team, as well as friends and teachers of Hae Min Lee.

While you wait for The Case Against Adnan Syed to release on March 10, 2019, take a look at the suspense-filled trailer above.

In case you missed it, HBO dropped an official trailer of its Michael Jackson Leaving Neverland documentary.
