Take a Closer Look at the Upcoming Black Sheep x Nike SB Dunk High "Black Hornet"
Prepare yourselves, this one is a stinger.

Nike SB has had a major comeback in the past year with an array of new collaborations and re-releases that have fans of the skateboarding sub-division tingling to their bones. Just last week the Portland-based sportswear monolith announced the upcoming release of a new Dunk High collaboration with Black Sheep Skate Shop titled “Black Hornet,” and now after the NBA All-Star Weekend has passed, we have a closer look at the upcoming Charlotte-referencing sneaker.
The new closer look showcases the detailed Charlotte influences that can be found throughout the shoe. The uppers base is made up of an iridescent material donning the city’s colors of purple and dark turquoise hues, paired with a leather cage and mudguard that looks as if to replicate an actual hornet’s nest. This is met with Swoosh branding on the lateral and medial sides, which is hit with a silver-toned “stinger.” Rounding out the details in the sneaker, a Jordan Brand-esque hangtag with both Nike SB and NBA logos, as well as Black Sheep branding on the tongue’s patch.
Check out our closer look above, and stay tuned as the shoes will be releasing via Nike SNKRS, select Nike SB retailers, and Black Sheep Skate Shop’s web store on February 23. The retail price is set at $110 USD.
