SEVENSTORE Captures NemeN's Technical Inspiration in 'Creating a Conflict With Science' Film

Liverpool-based imprint SEVENSTORE has taken to Milan to gain a deeper insight with NemeN and its founder-come-designer Leonardo Fasolo.
Ahead of SEVENSTORE’s acquisition of NemeN garments for Fall/Winter 2019, the store visits Fasolo at his Milan workshop to further understand what drives the brand’s experimentation and everyday workings. In the documentary, which is called Inside NemeN: Creating a Conflict With Science, Fasolo discusses how technical fabrication is imperative to the brand’s identity.
This love and understanding of technical fabrications and treatments follow from Fasolo’s time spent with Stone Island’s Carlo Rivetti, which taught him about aesthetics and true artisanal approaches. Inside NemeN: Creating a Conflict With Science continues to explore the label’s military inspirations, how science comes before art, and how NemeN plans to continue looking forward.
