Rick Owens Drops Bondage-Inspired Maximal Runners in Beige

As a follow-up to the chunky Tecuatl Tractor Sneaker released back around the middle of the month, Rick Owens has returned with a new silhouette for his bondage inspirations — featured is the Maximal Runner in a light cream-colored beige palette.
Coming in a mix of smooth leather, suede, rubber and cotton materials, a variety of intricate details have been given a soft tonal palette. The top of the sneakers come with a thin canvas pull tab sewn over the geometric tongue, while the heel stay has been raised to match the tongue’s height for added ankle cushioning. Silver-toned eyelet hooks have been placed at the heel counter, rear quarter and toe box, holding in place tightly layered laces that cover the forefoot. Lastly, premium suede fabrics appear at the toe cap, placed above an articulated midsole, finished off by a serrated outsole for extra traction.
