BlackEyePatch Goes to Europe for Pre-Spring 2020 Editorial
Graphic-heavy mid-layers.
After showcasing its throwback ’00s hip-hop and racing-inspired FW19 lookbook, Japanese label BlackEyePatch has returned with its latest editorial for its upcoming pre-Spring 2020 lineup.
This time around, the collection was lensed against the frayed streets of a European city, highlighting an assemblage of seasonal mid-layers that include everything from graphic tees to sleek windbreakers. One noteworthy piece is a yellow jersey shirt, embellished with contrasting red accents. Japanese kanji is printed vertically across the piece, complemented by red stripes around the collar and sleeves — “BlackEyePatch” branding is stamped over the prints at the upper left chest.
Another highlight is a multi-paneled zip-up, made up of white, red and navy palettes. Placed just below the front yoke, BlackEyePatch’s logo comes in the form of a white barcode, popping out from dark blue panels that cover the central closure, lower front body and back, while red tones under the arms finish off the garment. Other pieces like acid-dyed crewneck sweaters, various logo tees, denim pants, striped coach jackets and short-sleeve button-ups round up the concise collection.
BlackEyePatch’s pre-Spring 2020 Collection will be available on December 23 at the brand’s website.
