Childish Gambino, Charli XCX and More Join HAIM in Star-Studded “Hallelujah” Video
A touching tribute to the trio’s fans.
HAIM recently shared a new video for their single “Hallelujah,” following a Paul Thomas Anderson-directed visual for the song when it initially released. The new video pays tribute to the group’s fanbase, featuring clips of submitted videos of fans singing along to the melodious track.
In addition to spotlighting a digital collage of dedicated fans, HAIM includes clips from their parents, along with Ezra Koenig, Emma Stone, Clairo, Childish Gambino, and Charli XCX, adding some star power to the sing-along. Each clip passes by rather quickly, but if you pay close enough attention you’ll recognize the stars in their home videos.
This follows the trio’s release of a powerful visual for “Now I’m In It,” a song that displayed the sisters’ struggles with depression. The video for “Now I’m In It” was also directed by frequent collaborator Paul Thomas Anderson.
Elsewhere in music, Drake, Future, and 21 Savage have been spotted filming a video at a fake fast-food chain.
