READYMADE Drops "Flaming Smiley" Sweatsuit
Featuring quotes from Marcel Duchamp and Nirvana.
READYMADE has just released a new SMILE series of soft goods — all adorned with a faming smiley motif. The three-piece drop comes in the form of a hoodie, sweatpants, and a three-pack of socks. The hoodie features the large flaming smiley face streaming down both sleeves as a “The Ready Made” appears on the right side of the chest in ’70s-inspired text. At the back of the hoodie reads a famous quote from Marcel Duchamp: “Destruction is also creation.”
The sweatpants follow a similar style as the hoodie but incorporate four smaller flaming smiley faces along with lyrics from Nirvana’s song Come As You Are. Finally, the socks see READYMADE branding at the rib-knitted opening, and on the toes, while the red and orange smiley motif wraps across the ankle.
Priced at ¥40,000, ¥32,000 and ¥6,000 JPY (approximately $365, $292 and $55 USD) for the hoodie, sweatpants and socks, respectively, each piece can be found now over at RESTIR.
