Joe Confronts His Past in 'You' Season 2 Full-Trailer
And finds a new love interest named Love.
After sharing a teaser earlier this month, Netflix has now dropped the first full-length trailer for the highly-anticipated second season of You.
Penn Badgley returns as the creepy and obsessive Joe, who looks to have started a new life out in Los Angeles under a new name and identity. In the just under three-minute trailer posted above, the titular character still looks to have unfinished business in New York with his presumed dead ex-girlfriend Candace (Ambyr Childers) and a new love, who is literally named Love Quinn (portrayed by Victoria Pedretti from The Haunting of Hill House). Played over the visuals is a spare rendition of Radiohead’s “Creep.”
“It’s hard to have a fresh start when the past is on your mind,” Joe — now known as Will — says in the trailer, “but it’s a new me.”
In addition to Badgley, Childers and Pedretti, the series stars James Scully (Heathers) as Forty Quinn, Love’s entitled brother; Jenna Ortega (Jane the Virgin) as Ellie, Joe’s precocious new neighbor; and Carmela Zumbado (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend) as Delilah, Joe’s new landlord and Ellie’s protective older sister.
The second season of You returns to Netflix on December 26.
