Lost Art Enlists Rob Mathieson, French Cities & Archive Skateboarding Graphics for Winter 2019
Packed with color, graphics and plenty of branding.
Liverpool-based skateboarding imprint Lost Art has unveiled its Winter 2019 collection, delivering a number of firsts for the label such as pants and an even wider range of influences.
Lost Art draws inspiration from three unique themes for Winter 2019, beginning with the Southern French city of Nîmes. Using this geographical spot, the imprint delivers T-shirts, quarter-zip jumpers, hoodies, bags, headwear and the aforementioned all-new pants, with a long-sleeve sporting a graphic print of the famous Chained Crocodile of Nîmes on the reverse.
Elsewhere, Lost Art has enlisted Rob Mathieson to pen a crocodile-shaped jigsaw graphic comprised of various colors to spell out the imprint’s moniker. This graphic is joined by the slogan “United Colors” and appears on T-shirts, hoodies and sweatshirts. Lastly, as a nod to the brand’s skating heritage, the collection delivers pieces adorned with a graphic taken from Blind Skateboards’ archives, developing the “Love is Blind” capsule.
