Fear of God's Holiday 2019 Collection Is an Ode to Americana & Workwear
Featuring a heavy dose of suede, chenille and utilitarianism.
Fear of God has unveiled its Holiday 2019 collection, showcasing a number of utilitarian and workwear-indebted pieces in its latest lookbook.
Kicking off the Jerry Lorenzo-designed collection is the wide selection of outerwear, which ranges from an oversized khaki green parka jacket complete with military-inspired design cues to an elongated green corduroy worker’s jacket. Elsewhere you’ll find a black button-up shirt-jacket, a large checkered overshirt sporting two oversized pockets on its chest, and an ode to vintage Americana with the collection’s denim jacket, which features a brown suede collar and dual heavy-duty zippers.
One of the standout pieces from the Fear of God Holiday 2019 collection is its tote bag. The super-oversized piece is available in a triple-black leather offering as well as a muted grey-and-white hardwearing canvas iteration, with both featuring a large Fear of God “Sixth Collection” badge made from suede.
More nods to the imprint’s “Sixth Collection” come in the form of a hooded rain jacket available in black and light green, and the chenille-appliquéd varsity jacket. Take a look at the Fear of God Holiday 2019 collection in the lookbook above, and shop a selection of the pieces — and more as they drop — on SSENSE.
