032c's Milky Way-Inspired adidas Salvapor & Accompanying Bag Capsule Gets Wider Release

The collaboration between 032c and adidas has been given a wider release, seeing its FYW S-97-based Salvapor sneaker and accompanying capsule collection dropping today.
032c’s Salvapor updates the adidas Salvation from the early ’90s, giving the sneaker a post-digital and agile aesthetic with new performance technology updates. It draws inspiration from NASA, adopting a milky-white colorway that references the Hubble space telescope and when it first saw the Milky Way. Furthermore, 032c adds a light and airy foam tongue beneath the laces as an ode to the Milky Way’s weightlessness, which is further referenced in the sneaker’s mix of translucent panels.
Accompanying the Salvapor is a capsule collection comprised of three utilitarian and equally post-digital-era bags — a backpack, a duffel, and a multi-strap offering. These all-black pieces contrast the lightness of the aforementioned sneaker while still referencing the collection’s response to the “volatile landscape we inhabit online, in our psyches, and in our physical environment,” as stated in a press release. The functional bags sport reinforced straps, metal loop hardware and have been designed to take you “from workday to nightlife, ideation to action, among other adaptations.”

In other news, adidas has released another retro model, the FYW 98.
