Blizzard Announces 'Warcraft III: Reforged' Release Date
Remastering the RTS classic.

Blizzard has turned back to one of its classic RTS games for a vibrant refresh. The company has announced an official release date for Warcraft III: Reforged, a remaster of War Craft III with improved graphics.
Though Blizzard did mention earlier this year that the upcoming remaster would include an updated story, it appears that the plan has changed: the original story will be left unchanged. According to Blizzard, the new game will include a single-player campaign of 60 missions and online modes that have been revamped. But the release has been pushed back near the end of January 2020: “Though we’ve been working hard to get Reforged in your hands before the end of the year, as we started approaching the finish line, we felt we’d need a little extra development time for finishing touches,” mentioned Blizzard.” As always, our goal is to honor the high standards you hold us to.” Eager fans will have to wait for the game’s release slated January 28, 2020.
Warcraft III: Reforged is currently available for pre-order at Blizzard’s website for $29 USD. Those who don’t mind paying $39 USD can opt for the Spoils of War edition, which comes with a number of skins, player icons and other add-ons.
Elsewhere, Square Enix has unveiled a new Final Fantasy VII Remake character.
