ASICS Details White GEL-1090 With Bright Fluorescent Accents
Equipped with gradient-toned GEL inserts.
After dropping its GEL-Kayano 5 OG in “Black/Turquoise” and “White/Saffron”, Japanese footwear brand ASICS has returned with a vibrant iteration of its GEL-1090 silhouette. The sneakers boast bright fluorescent accents atop a crisp white base, bringing life to the functional running shoe.
Starting at the top of the sneakers, fluorescent “ASICS” branding is stamped at the tongue, followed by round laces that cross over the forefoot. The inner collars come in black mesh, complemented by contrasting red embroidery surrounding the “GEL” patch logo at the heel and black suede panels below the counter. ASICS’ side stripes appear in bright lime-green against black leather underlays, while the suede toe cap features hits of light blue. All of these details sit above an angular midsole, accented by a red-green gradient GEL insert that stretches from the heel to the footbridge.
