UBIQ & adidas Consortium's Crazy BYW 2.0 X Celebrates US-Via-Korea's "Sister Cities"
Featuring a full-body 3M underlay, extra 3M paneling, and Korean typography throughout.

UBIQ is the latest stalwart sneaker store to be enlisted by
The story of “Sister Cities” dates back to 1947 and was created as a way to bring communities together following World War II. Inspired by UBIQ’s hometowns of Philadelphia and Georgetown and their Sister Cities of Incheon and Seoul, the futuristic sneaker sports a combination of both nods to Korea and the store’s roots in its unique design.
adidas’ mid-top basketball silhouette has been treated to an engineered sandwich mesh upper with a reflective underlay, meaning that the white upper shines bright at night all over. Added 3M detailing can be seen on the toe box, lace stays, mid-panels, tongue and heel loops, and on the speckled bright green laces.
The full-length BOOST midsole is encaged in a sculpted, two-tone EVA unit, and finishing off the sneaker’s fabrication is a technical neoprene bootie lining the inside. UBIQ celebrates its “Sister Cities” with the inclusion of Korean typography printed all over the tongue, as well as insoles featuring a yin yang-style print adopting the blue and red hues of the traditional Korean Obangsaek color spectrum.
UBIQ and adidas Consortium’s Crazy BYW 2.0 x “Sister Cities” will release on Black Friday — November 29 — at 10 a.m. EST exclusively via the UBIQlife.com website for $170 USD.
